Volleyball Recap: Chetopa Comes Up Short

Chetopa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West Elk Patriots. The Hornets were not able to make up for their loss to the Patriots from their previous meeting back in September of 2023.

While Chetopa was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-3.

Chetopa's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10-1. As for West Elk, their victory bumped their record up to 3-14.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chetopa will square off against Uniontown on Tuesday. As for West Elk, they will face off against Flinthills on Tuesday.
