Colonia is a perfect 4-0 against Cranford since January of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will dust off their jerseys to face off against one another. One thing working in Colonia's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four games.

Last Saturday, everything went Colonia's way against Woodbridge as Colonia made off with a 72-51 victory. The Patriots have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Cranford and Linden squared off in some playoff action last Thursday, but Cranford had to settle for second. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 71-48. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 251st, while the Tigers are ranked 31st).

Cranford has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. Colonia's win bumped their record up to 18-4.

Colonia beat Cranford 57-44 when the teams last played back in March of 2022. Will Colonia repeat their success, or does Cranford have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
