Softball Recap: Carson Gets the Win

Carson's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top against the Salisbury Hornets by a score of 19-0 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Cougars' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

The victory got Carson back to even at 2-2. As for Salisbury, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.

Carson and Salisbury will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Cougars see the field they'll take on East Rowan at 5:30 p.m. on the 17th. As for Salisbury, their break will end when they face South Rowan at 5:30 p.m. on the 17th.
