Basketball Recap: Elysian Fields Comes Up Short

Elysian Fields was the 57-38 winner over Gary when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Yellowjackets fell 54-49 to the Bobcats on Tuesday.

Elysian Fields' defeat dropped their record down to 16-7. As for Gary, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-8.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Elysian Fields is set to challenge their familiar foe Timpson at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Gary will face off against rival Tenaha at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
