Baseball Recap: Wheatland's Undefeated Season over After 12 Games

While it was Wheatland who put the first runs on the board on Saturday, it was Marceline who put up more. The Mules fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 9-8. The loss was the Mules' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Wheatland fell to 11-1. As for Marceline, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-7 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wheatland will welcome Fordland at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Marceline, they will square off against Maysville at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
