Edison won the last time they faced Brackenridge and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Golden Bears secured a 58-54 W over the Eagles. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Golden Bears.

Brackenridge lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Zen Rodriguez, who went 5-for-6 to rack up 14 points. Seth Mendez was another key player, shooting 71% from the field en route to 11 points and eight rebounds.

Edison's victory bumped their record up to 9-13. As for Brackenridge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-17.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Edison will take on rival Sam Houston at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Brackenridge is set to face off against their familiar foe Highlands at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
