Basketball Recap: SEED Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

SEED came into Wednesday's contest having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Cristo Rey Jesuit Hornets by a score of 44-32 on Wednesday. SEED's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

SEED's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kahmani Gaither, who posted 20 points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Morgan Jackson, who put up nine points and five rebounds.

SEED's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3.

SEED and Central will round out the year against one another at at 9:30 a.m. on December 27th. SEED is facing Central at the right time seeing as Central is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Cristo Rey Jesuit, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on The Gunston School at 4:00 p.m. on February 7, 2025.
