McCurdy scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 78-68 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Menaul Panthers. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Thursday (60), the Bobcats still had to take the loss.

With the defeat, McCurdy broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-6. As for Menaul, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-8.

McCurdy will square off against Mesa Vista at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. McCurdy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Mesa Vista likes a good challenge. Menaul has already played their next matchup (against Roy/Mosquero), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
