Softball Recap: West Scranton Takes a Loss

West Scranton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 14-3 to the Abington Heights Comets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Invaders of the 10-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

West Scranton's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Abington Heights, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Scranton will venture away from home to take on North Pocono at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Abington Heights, they will take on Freedom at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
