After both having extra time off, the Legacy Lions and the South Fork Bulldogs will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another  at 7:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Legacy will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.
Legacy is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup  on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out John Carroll Catholic  3-2.
 Legacy was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The final score came out to 18-25, 25-18, 20-25, 25-20,  15-11.

Legacy's success was spearheaded by the efforts of   Paisley Woods, who  had 15  digs and two assists, and   Kherington Neikirk, who  had eight  digs and three  aces. Woods has been hot recently, having  posted 11 or more  digs the last three times she's  played.
 They weren't the only good servers: Legacy  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 14  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least seven  aces in nine consecutive  matchups.
Meanwhile,  South Fork unfortunately witnessed the end of their  three-match winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of Legacy by a score of  3-2.
 Legacy will have to keep a close watch on  Hailee Curl and  Olivia Mohseni, a pair of players who had a big impact on South Fork's prior game. Curl  had 12  digs and eight  assists, while  Mohseni  had eight  digs and one assist.
 Legacy's victory bumped their record up to 21-7. As for South Fork, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-7.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of  Wednesday's  contest:  Legacy has really dialed in their serving  this season,  having  averaged 10.7  aces per game. However, it's not like South Fork struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 8.2  aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
 Legacy came out on top in a nail-biter against South Fork in their previous matchup  on Tuesday, sneaking past  3-2. Will the Lions repeat their success,  or do  the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
