Volleyball Recap: Greendale Panthers vs. Pius XI Catholic Popes
Greendale lost against Pius XI Catholic back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Panthers came up short against the Popes, falling 3-0.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-15, 25-21.
Xavier Zimmerman paced Greendale's offense, picking up 12 kills. Zimmerman got some help from Jakup Ademi and his 19 assists. Jacob Hick controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
Among those leading the charge was Finnley Beecham, who had 20 assists. That's the most assists he has posted over his last ten contests.
Greendale's defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Pius XI Catholic, they pushed their record up to 7-14 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.
