University is 0-10 against Woodbridge since May of 2018 but things could change on Monday. The Trojans will look to defend their home field against the Warriors at 3:30 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

University barely beat Portola the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Trojans were the clear victors by a 13-1 margin over the Bulldogs on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won seven games by six runs or more so far this season.

Carson Cruz made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off eight hits (and not a single walk). Cruz was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI and one double.

In other batting news, Amela Hoang was incredible, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with four runs, one triple, and two RBI. Those four runs gave her a new career-high.
