Football Game Preview: North Chicago Warhawks vs. Antioch Sequoits

North Chicago is 1-9 against Antioch since October of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Warhawks will challenge the Sequoits at 7:00 p.m.

On Friday, North Chicago came up short against Grayslake Central and fell 31-19.

Meanwhile, Antioch waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They breezed past the Eagles to the tune of 56-15. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Sequoits' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 103rd, while the Eagles are ranked 279th).

North Chicago's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Antioch, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.

North Chicago took a serious blow against Antioch in their previous meeting back in September of 2024, falling 50-8. Thankfully for the Warhawks, Martin Cohen (who rushed for 144 yards and three TDs on only 13 carries) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
