Soccer Recap: Tucson High Magnet School Comes Up Short

Tucson High Magnet School lost against Sunnyside back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tucson High Magnet School Badgers took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sunnyside Blue Devils. While losing is never fun, the Badgers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona soccer rankings (they are ranked 71st, while the Blue Devils are ranked second).

This is the second loss in a row for Tucson High Magnet School and nudges their season record down to 1-6-1. As for Sunnyside, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tucson High Magnet School will challenge Rincon/University at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Rincon/University will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Tucson High Magnet School surely won't give up without a fight. As for Sunnyside, they will square off against Marana at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Sunnyside is facing Marana at the right time seeing as Marana is stuck on a 12-game losing streak.
