Football Recap: New Dorp Takes a Loss

New Dorp was the 36-24 winner over Brooklyn Technical when they last played one another back in October of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. The Central Cougars and the Engineers were almost perfectly matched up on Saturday, but the Central Cougars suffered a 21-20 defeat. The Central Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

New Dorp's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Brooklyn Technical, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-3 record.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. New Dorp is set to take on their familiar foe Lincoln at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Brooklyn Technical will face off against rival Port Richmond on Saturday.
