Baseball Recap: Christ Presbyterian Academy Makes It Nine in a Row on the Road

Upperman typically has all the answers at home, but on Saturday Christ Presbyterian Academy proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Bees by a score of 7-2. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Bees recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Christ Presbyterian Academy pushed their record up to 25-2-1 with the victory, which was their ninth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Upperman, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Christ Presbyterian Academy will head out to square off against Lipscomb Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Mustangs' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Lions' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Upperman, they will head out on the road to challenge Livingston Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Bees surely won't give up without a fight.
