Softball Recap: CORE Butte Comes Up Short

After flying high against Plumas Charter on Friday, CORE Butte came back down to earth. The Lynx fell 10-7 to the Trinity Wolves on Friday. If the Lynx were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Wolves when the teams met back in March of 2017, then they'll just have to keep looking.

CORE Butte has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for Trinity, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.

CORE Butte has already played their next game, a 5-3 loss against Enterprise on the 29th. As for Trinity, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-2 victory against Hoopa Valley on the 29th.
