Softball Recap: Hixson Takes a Loss

Hixson fell victim to Ooltewah and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 14-0 to the Owls. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Owls recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Hixson's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14-1. As for Ooltewah, their victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-7.

Coincidentally, Hixson and Ooltewah will both be playing Walker Valley the next time they take the field. The Owls will host the Mustangs at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Wildcats will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
