Volleyball Recap: Monte Vista Takes a Loss

Monte Vista's tournament run continued when they took on Coastal Academy on Saturday. The Monarchs fell 2-0 to the Stingrays. The Monarchs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Monte Vista's loss dropped their record down to 9-15. As for Coastal Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-18 record this season.

Monte Vista wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against St. Joseph Academy on the 4th. As for Coastal Academy, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Madison on the 4th.
