Basketball Game Preview: Fairfax HomeSchool Hawks vs. South Charlotte Thunder

Having just played yesterday, the Fairfax HomeSchool Hawks will jump right back in to play the South Charlotte Thunder at 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Fairfax HomeSchool is headed into the game having just suffered their closest loss since January 4, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of Christian Educational Consortium by a score of 50-47.

South Charlotte not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 6, 2024. They blew past Heritage Christian Athletics 56-36. The victory continues a trend for the Thunder in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now won three in a row.

South Charlotte's record is now 11-19. As for Fairfax HomeSchool, their defeat dropped their record down to 21-9.

Fairfax HomeSchool might still be hurting after the 71-47 loss they got from South Charlotte in their previous matchup back in March of 2019. Thankfully for Fairfax HomeSchool, Thomas Hailey (who shot 69% from the field en route to 19 points in addition to seven rebounds and six assists) won't be suiting up this time.
