Soccer Recap: MICDS vs. Whitfield
After flying high against Pattonville last Monday, MICDS came back down to earth. The MICDS Rams fell just short of the Whitfield Warriors by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The contest was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Rams couldn't quite close it out.
MICDS's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-10. As for Whitfield, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 4-11 record this season.
MICDS will challenge Kirkwood at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. Whitfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
