Gateway College Preparatory had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Cedar Creek on Tuesday. The Gators were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Eagles. The Gators not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since August 12th (when they won 3-0).

Gateway College Preparatory never let Cedar Creek on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-16, 25-22.

Gateway College Preparatory's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Cedar Creek, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gateway College Preparatory will challenge St. Andrew's at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Highlanders will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Gators surely won't give up without a fight. As for Cedar Creek, they will welcome Elgin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
