Eastern Randolph is a perfect 6-0 against Jordan-Matthews since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Wildcats are taking a road trip to challenge the Jets at 7:30 p.m. Eastern Randolph knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 31 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Jordan-Matthews likes a good challenge.

Eastern Randolph's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat North Moore 56-0. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won six games by 21 points or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Jordan-Matthews played a tough matchup last Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 48-18 loss at the hands of Southwestern Randolph. The defeat continues a trend for the Jets in their meetings with the Cougars: they've now lost four in a row.

Eastern Randolph has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 6.5 points on average over those games. As for Jordan-Matthews, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Everything came up roses for Eastern Randolph against Jordan-Matthews when the teams last played back in March of 2021, as the squad secured a 49-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
