Basketball Recap: Caldwell Takes a Loss

Caldwell lost against Skyview back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Caldwell Cougars took a blow against the Skyview Hawks, falling 95-47. The Cougars were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 56-27.

Caldwell now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Skyview, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season.

Looking ahead, Caldwell will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Vallivue at 7:30 p.m. One thing working in Vallivue's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five games. As for Skyview, they will venture away from home to take on Bishop Kelly at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Bishop Kelly is on a four-game streak of home wins, Skyview a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
