Softball Recap: Romulus Takes a Loss

Romulus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 13-12 heartbreaker at the hands of the Crestwood Chargers. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 26-8 to the Chargers when the teams met back in May of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Romulus' loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Crestwood, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-9 and their overall record up to 2-11.

Crestwood didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 15-2 defeat against Henry Ford Academy on the 5th. Hopefully Romulus paid attention to the Chargers' match: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Chargers at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
