Volleyball Recap: Three Straight Home Victories for Fontbonne Academy

Fontbonne Academy extended their home winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Tayla Jiang. The Ducks put the hurt on the Holbrook Bulldogs with a sharp 3-0 victory on Monday with plenty of help from Jiang, who had six digs and four aces. She is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 14 or more in each of the last eight games she's played.

While Fontbonne Academy won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-14, 25-20.

Fontbonne Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Holbrook, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four matches and leaves them with a 4-3 record.

Fontbonne Academy has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Watertown on the 24th. As for Holbrook, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Avon on the 24th.
