Soccer Recap: Hillsboro Takes a Loss

Hillsboro lost against Western Brown back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Indians fell 4-2 to the Broncos. While losing is never fun, Hillsboro can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 278th, while Western Brown are ranked 68th).

Ella Jordan and Kobie Miles scored both of Hillsboro's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 27 goals.

Hillsboro has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season. As for Western Brown, their victory bumped their record up to 11-0.

Hillsboro didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 4-0 defeat against McClain on the 16th. As for Western Brown, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 3-0 win against New Richmond on the 16th.
