Football Recap: Graham-Kapowsin Starts Season with Win at Home + How To Watch

Graham-Kapowsin gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 40-38 victory over the O'Dea Fighting Irish. For the Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 35-28 win the Fighting Irish walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Graham-Kapowsin found their leader in sophomore AJ Tuivaiave, who threw for 317 yards and two TDs, and also punched in three scores on the ground.

Graham-Kapowsin wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 31-0 victory against Skyview on the 12th. As for O'Dea, they have also already played their next contest, a 31-16 win against Rainier Beach on the 11th.
