Wapato is 7-2 against Connell since December of 2014 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Wapato Wolves will welcome the Connell Eagles at 7:15 p.m. The timing is sure in Wapato's favor as the team sits on seven straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Connell has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.

Wapato is headed into the match out to prove that what happened against Zillah on Saturday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Wapato had to suffer through a 84-56 loss at the hands of Zillah. The Wolves were down 79-38 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Connell). They enjoyed a cozy 72-56 win over Kiona-Benton on Friday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Eagles as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Connell's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Wapato, their loss dropped their record down to 8-4.

Wapato took their victory against Connell in their previous meeting last Friday by a conclusive 66-46. Will Wapato repeat their success, or does Connell have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
