Volleyball Recap: Gardena Comes Up Short

Gardena was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Narbonne Gauchos. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Gauchos this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

The match came down to the wire multiple times:two sets needed extra rallies to declare a winner. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 27-25, 26-24.

Gardena's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Narbonne, their win ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-7.

Looking ahead, Gardena will host King/Drew at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Panthers are facing the Golden Eagles at the right time seeing as the Golden Eagles are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Narbonne, they will take on Banning at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
