It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Scott County had no problem doing just that on Friday. Everything went their way against the Cooper Jaguars as they made off with a 55-34 victory. The Cardinals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by 21 points or more this season.

When it comes to explaining why Cooper lost, don't look at Cam O'Hara. Despite the final result, he threw for 265 yards and four touchdowns, and also punched in one rushing score. O'Hara's passing game has become a key predictor of the Jaguars' success: the team is 6-1 when his passer rating is 110 or higher, but only 2-3 otherwise.

The win made it two in a row for Scott County and bumps their season record up to 9-3. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.5 points over those games. As for Cooper, they moved to 8-4 with that defeat, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Scott County will square off against Woodford County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Cooper does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
