Football Recap: Greenwood Christian Academy Cougars vs. Park Tudor Panthers
Greenwood Christian Academy couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost to the Park Tudor Panthers at home by a 44-27 margin on Friday. The Cougars lost against the Panthers in their previous head to head back in August of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 65-6 score last time.
Park Tudor found their leader in underclassman Christopher Harris, who threw for 236 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 11.8 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 77 yards. Landon Guerra was Harris' top target, picking up 119 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Greenwood Christian Academy will welcome Covenant Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Park Tudor, they will host Tindley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
