Baseball Game Preview: Hillsborough Terriers vs. Chamberlain Storm

For the second straight game, Hillsborough will face off against Chamberlain. Hillsborough will welcome Chamberlain at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Hillsborough took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out Chamberlain 7-5. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Terriers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Rocco Sabella was incredible, going 1-for-2 with four RBI, one run, and one double. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Curtis Roberts, who scored a run and stole four bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Hillsborough always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .515. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive contests.

Chamberlain's defeat was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Hillsborough, their victory bumped their record up to 3-13.
