Basketball Recap: Eleven Williams Key Part of a Team Effort in Warriors Win

There's no place like home for Osceola, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Boca Ciega Pirates on Wednesday, sneaking past 57-54. For the Warriors, this counts as revenge for the 59-54 victory the Pirates walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Osceola to victory, but perhaps none more so than Eleven Williams, who posted 13 points and five assists. Talon Brooks was another key player, going 5 of 8 en route to 14 points.

Boca Ciega's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Hunter Dyer, who went 5 for 9 on his way to 11 points in addition to five boards and four steals. That's the most steals Dyer has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Robert Harris, who scored nine points along with five rebounds and four steals.

Osceola's record now sits at 12-8. As for Boca Ciega, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-9.

Osceola wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 74-45 win against Hollins on the 17th. Boca Ciega has also already played their next contest, an 83-41 victory against Northeast on the 17th.
