Basketball Recap: Chester County Comes Up Short

Chester County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 69-49 to the Tennessee Preparatory Academy Diplomat Lions. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 337th, while the Diplomat Lions are ranked 28th).

Chester County's record is now 3-9. As for Tennessee Preparatory Academy, they moved to 3-5 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Chester County will host Bolivar Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Bolivar Central knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Chester County likes a good challenge. As for Tennessee Preparatory Academy, they will square off against Friendship Christian at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Friendship Christian will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Tennessee Preparatory Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
