Volleyball Recap: First Presbyterian Day Comes Up Short

First Presbyterian Day lost against Stratford Academy back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Vikings fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 3-2.

First Presbyterian Day wouldn't go down easily and took Stratford Academy into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking three-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-22, 23-25, 23-25, 15-12.

First Presbyterian Day's defeat dropped their record down to 12-17. As for Stratford Academy, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-11.

First Presbyterian Day wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Brookstone on the 4th. As for Stratford Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Sherwood Christian Academy on the 2nd.
