Baseball Recap: Meeker Wins Going Away Against Drumright

Meeker barely beat Drumright the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bulldogs blew past the Tornadoes 15-9 on Monday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Bulldogs needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Meeker has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.2 runs over those games. As for Drumright, their loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-10.

We've got a battle between Bulldogs coming up. As for Drumright, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 14-5 defeat against Stroud on the 1st.
