Basketball Recap: Tyson Vogrig's Big Game Can't Quite Lead North Central over Cheney + How To Watch

North Central was the 65-57 winner over Cheney when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Wolfpack took a 70-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blackhawks on Thursday.

North Central lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Tyson Vogrig, who shot 67% from the field en route to 19 points. Miles Spence was another key player, going 7-for-12 on his way to 18 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals.

North Central's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Cheney, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Central will venture away from home to take on Lake City at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cheney, they will head out to challenge Mead at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
