Softball Recap: Norristown Takes a Loss

Norristown fell victim to Spring-Ford and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 10-0 to the Rams. Having soared to a lofty 17 runs in the game before, the Eagles' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Norristown's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Spring-Ford, they pushed their record up to 7-3 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Norristown will host Owen J. Roberts at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Spring-Ford, they will head out to challenge Phoenixville at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Phantoms will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Rams surely won't give up without a fight.
