Basketball Game Preview: Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind Sentinels vs. Dishchii'bikoh Wildcats

The Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind Sentinels and the Dishchii'bikoh Wildcats will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 71-23, which was the final score in Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind's tilt against Baboquivari on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Sentinels can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 278th, while the Warriors are ranked 137th).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Dishchii'bikoh). They breezed by Rough Rock to the tune of 84-36 on Saturday. The win was familiar territory for the Wildcats who have now won three matches in a row.

Dishchii'bikoh's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind, their loss was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-7.
