Basketball Recap: Mount Pisgah Christian Academy Sets Scoring Season-High Against Maryville Christian

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mount Pisgah Christian Academy). They walked away with a 60-48 win over the Maryville Christian Eagles on Thursday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Mount Pisgah Christian Academy also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Leading Mount Pisgah Christian Academy to victory were Kaylynn Walls and Brooklyn Foster. Walls dropped a double-double on 25 points and 20 rebounds, while Foster dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 boards. With that strong performance, Walls is now averaging an impressive 15.2 points per game. Another player making a difference was Jesalyn Howard, who posted 12 points.

The victory made it two in a row for Mount Pisgah Christian Academy and bumps their season record up to 9-5. As for Maryville Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-4.
