Baseball Recap: Mount Tabor Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Mount Tabor came tearing into Tuesday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Glenn Bobcats as they made off with a 12-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Spartans, who have now won seven contests by ten runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Will Koonin, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2025. Ty Koonin was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.

Mount Tabor hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Glenn struck out nine times.

Mount Tabor's win bumped their record up to 13-6. As for Glenn, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-12.

Looking ahead, Mount Tabor will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Page at 7:00 p.m. The Spartans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Pirates have averaged an impressive 8.2 runs per game this season. Glenn will be paying especially close attention to Mount Tabor's matchup: after Mount Tabor faces off against Page, they'll take on Glenn again at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
