On FridayAtrisco Heritage Academy kept up with Albuquerque until halftime, but afterwards: not so much. The Albuquerque Bulldogs put the hurt on the Atrisco Heritage Academy Jaguars with a sharp 72-51 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 74-57 back in January.

Albuquerque is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.6 points over those games. As for Atrisco Heritage Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 12-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Albuquerque won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Cibola at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Albuquerque knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Cibola likes a good challenge. As for Atrisco Heritage Academy, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Jaguars challenge the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
