Basketball Recap: Holly Hill Academy Skates Past Clarendon Hall with Ease

Holly Hill Academy won the last time they faced Clarendon Hall and things went their way on Monday too. The Holly Hill Academy Raiders claimed a resounding 62-15 win over the Clarendon Hall Saints. That looming 62-15 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Raiders yet this season.

Leading Holly Hill Academy to victory were Ashton Soles and Jody Gillam. Soles went 7 for 11 en route to 14 points and three steals, while Gillam went 5 of 9 on his way to 10 points in addition to five assists and four steals. Soles has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. Camdin Harmon was another key player, putting up eight points along with five rebounds and three steals.

Holly Hill Academy moved to 4-8 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Clarendon Hall, they dropped their record down to 0-11 with the loss, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.
