Volleyball Game Preview: James River Midlothian Rapids vs. Midlothian Trojans

The James River Midlothian Rapids will venture away from home to challenge the Midlothian Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. James River Midlothian will be strutting in after a win while Midlothian will be coming in after a defeat.

Last Wednesday, James River Midlothian beat Atlee 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rapids.

James River Midlothian had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 15-25, 25-22, 25-17, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Midlothian faced Atlee in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Trojans fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 3-2. The Trojans' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Midlothian's defeat dropped their record down to 9-2. As for James River Midlothian, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

James River Midlothian suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Midlothian in their previous matchup back in August. Can the Rapids avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
