Volleyball Recap: Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Nicollet Raiders. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Thunderbirds of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Nicollet, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop is taking a road trip to challenge Sleepy Eye at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Thunderbirds' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Nicollet, they will face off against Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
