Football Recap: Palacios Comes Up Short

Palacios extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping them down to 1-5. They were beaten by the Orange Grove Bulldogs 62-7. While losing is never fun, the Sharks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 896th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 411th).

Alex Weaver threw for 42 yards on nine of 18 attempts.

As for Orange Grove, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 40.7 points this season.

It was another big night for Daniel Bahn, who rushed for 126 yards and four scores on only seven carries. Bahn is crushing it when it comes to rushing touchdowns: he's punched in at least two every time he's taken the field this season.
