Recap: Breathitt County Bobcats vs. Paintsville Tigers
On Thursday, Breathitt County came up short against Paintsville and fell 57-48. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Breathitt County has scored all season.
Breathitt County lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Isaac Bellamy, who scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Aaron Stallard, who scored nine points along with five rebounds.
Breathitt County's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Paintsville, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-3.
Breathitt County won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Lawrence County at 1:00 p.m. on December 22nd. One thing working in Lawrence County's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. Paintsville won't have much time to rest: their next game is against East Carter at 4:30 p.m. on December 22nd. East Carter has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 191 points over their last three matchups.
