Volleyball Recap: West Greene's Victory on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

West Greene had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Avella Eagles as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

West Greene was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-21, 25-20.

West Greene's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Avella, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. West Greene is set to take on their familiar foe Bethlehem Center at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Avella will challenge rival Jefferson-Morgan at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
