Softball Recap: Springfield Tigers vs. Waterloo Vikings

After losing to Waterloo the last time they met, Springfield decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Tigers blew past the Vikings 12-6 on Tuesday. The Tigers not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 12th (when they won 15-6).

Springfield got a massive performance out of Gina Romeo, who went 4-for-5 with three runs and three RBI. Those four hits gave Romeo a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Audrina Koscelansky, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI.
